Pennsylvania born and raised, I've spent the better part of my life on the eastern side of the state. Somewhere in the dim past I remember graduating for Kutztown University. I'm married with two children, now grown, and spent many years in front of a computer terminal as a systems analyst for the County of Lehigh.
Now retired from gainful employment, I perform at theatres, listening clubs, schools, libraries and arts festivals. I am coordinator for the Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild, Pennsylvania State Representative for the National Youth Storytelling Showcase and State Liaison for the National Storytelling Network. I am also the recipient of the 2008 Individual Artist Award from the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission. I am also a member of Patchwork: A Storytelling Guild.
I am author of two still-to-be-published YA fantasy novels.
My most recent project is gathering Mozambique traditional stories, also for publication. I have a primary source who is gradually feeding me the trickster rabbit tales he heard during his youth. More to come on that as it develops.
